What is DTF printing?

DTF (direct to film) printing prints your design onto a film with a powder adhesive on the back. The film is then heat pressed onto the garment. It works on cotton, polyester and blends, in any colour, and does not need a cutting or weeding step.

What is the difference between DTF and UV DTF?

DTF transfers are for fabric and are applied with a heat press. UV DTF transfers are stickers for hard surfaces such as glass, tumblers, bottles, tins and plastic. They are applied by hand with pressure, not heat.

What is a gang sheet?

A gang sheet is one long sheet of film filled with many of your designs. You pay for the sheet, not per design, so packing your designs closely together brings your cost per print down.

What sheet widths do you print?

Our DTF printers give a printable width of 58 cm and 29 cm, and UV DTF prints at 28 cm. The builder uses these printable widths, so what you arrange is exactly what prints.

How do I prepare my artwork?

Accepted Answer

PNG files with a transparent background give the best result. Aim for 300 DPI at the size you want printed. If your file has a white or coloured background, the builder will warn you and can remove it for you, and it can also improve the quality of a small or blurry file.

Can I order a single transfer instead of a full sheet?

Yes. On the single transfers page you choose a size (pocket, A5, A4, A3 or A2), upload your design and order just the transfers you need.

How do I pay?

Place your order on the site, then message us on WhatsApp. We send you our banking details, and once you send your proof of payment we confirm the order and start production. You can also pay by card at our shop when you visit or collect your order.

How do I get my order?

Courier delivery anywhere in South Africa, or collect free from our shop in Polokwane Central. You choose at checkout, and we message you when your order is on the way or ready to collect.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Use your order number on the tracking page, or sign in to your account to see all your past orders, their status and your payment proof.
